Traditional flamenco dresses (multi-frilled, puffed sleeves) can be hard to find, and expensive.  The modern trend is for a more streamlined look - which is actually good new for flamenco dancers, because we're no longer confined to buying from specialist flamenco retailers. You'll often find very suitable dresses offered by ballroom or general dancewear companies, and we've listed several of them here.

Bear in mind that a top and/or  shawl combined with a skirt can be an effective alternative to a full dress - it looks just as professional, and gives you more costume combinations.
