Castanets
It's quite hard to find good castanets online, so I apologise if we don't have many listings here. It's because I refuse to list anything other than professional quality.
Even students shouldn't be tempted by castanets described as "semi-professional". I don't know why this description has become so widespread in Spain, because in my experience, semi-professional castanets are virtually unplayable. They're often thin, or small, or have a horrible sound. Personally, I'd say if you can't afford "professional" castanets, it's better to look for second-hand than compromise.
